BEFORE FIRST USE:THE BASE MUST BE ASSEMBLED

Screw stem onto threaded bolt on U Base. Turn by hand until tight.
Always ensure stem is well tightened before fitting flag pole as below.
Do not disassemble after set up.

ADJUSTING THE TELESCOPIC POLE:
The pole has 3 adjustable sections with simple Twist Lock action.
The telescopic design allows extension to any length up to 3 meters.

    * TO LOCK - TURN CLOCKWISE
    * TO UNLOCK - TURN ANTI CLOCKWISE
    * TURN THE ALUMINIUM SECTIONS

DO NOT TURN THE PLASTIC FITTINGS

Excessive force will damage mechanism, correctly used the pole
turns/locks easily Ensure the pole is unlocked at set-up.
POLE WILL JAM IF DENTED.

U BASE (CAR WHEEL BASE)
1. Place U-base flat next to car and slide around wheel,
push firmly in towards wheel (Don't drive over it)
The U base works on all average sized production cars.

2.Larger end of pole fits snugly
over upright stem. Push down firmly.

3. Slip the thinner pole into sleeve at top of flag.
Start at the selvedge side of the flag (side with the loops).

4. Fit loops over pole.
Bottom loop first - top loop last.

5. Place top (Elbow) on pole

6. Easily extend the pole - usually to maximum length.

NB: LOCK & UNLOCK POLE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE

DO NOT LEVER POLE SIDE TO SIDE TO REMOVE FROM BASE.

EARTH SPIKE
Use on lawn grass and similar where it is possible to drive the spike
into ground. Proceed from para. 2 in section on Car U Base above.

STAND ALONE (PLASTIC) BASE
Fill with water or sand. Fit pole to stem.
Proceed from para. 2 in section on Car U Base above.

NB: USING THE SYSTEM IS A MATTER OF COMMON SENSE.
THE FLAG FUNCTIONS WELL IN A BREEZE.
IF THE WIND IS TOO STRONG - DON'T USE.
ENSURE ADHERENCE TO ALL LOCAL LAWS & REGULATIONS.

Machine wash in warm (not hot) water Standard / Mild laundry detergent.
Handle carefully to avoid ironing dry in shade - cool iron if necessary.
Can be gently hand washed taking care not to wring. Can be Dry Cleaned.
